Our Story · Since 2019

Silver, softened by the hands that have shaped it for two generations.

We are a small atelier of silversmiths in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh — the children of a family that has worked with fine metals for over forty years. Silverse is how we carry that craft forward: one hand-finished, heirloom-grade pendant at a time.

How it began

A workshop in Dadri, a quiet promise to do silver differently.

In 2019, two siblings — Rakesh and Priya — inherited a small silversmithing workshop from their father. For forty years it had quietly supplied wholesale pieces to bigger names across Delhi and Jaipur. Beautiful work, rarely credited.

We asked ourselves a simple question: what if we slowed down, signed every piece, and sold directly to the people who would actually wear them? What if a pendant wasn’t just a product, but a small, quiet heirloom — worn against the skin, cherished for a lifetime?

Silverse was born out of that question. No middlemen. No shortcuts. Just 925 sterling silver, ethically sourced stones, and hands that have been doing this for two generations.

“We don’t make jewellery in a hurry — because nothing worth keeping is made that way.”

— The Silverse Atelier

Our Journey

Seven years, measured in pieces.

From a back-alley workshop to a loved little label — here are the moments that shaped us.

Spring · 2019

The beginning

Rakesh and Priya register Silverse out of their father's Dadri workshop. The first collection — just 12 pendants — is photographed on a bedsheet at home.

October · 2020

First thousand orders

A single Instagram Reel crosses 2 million views. We ship to every state in India for the first time and hire our first two bench jewellers.

March · 2023

The new atelier

We move into a purpose-built studio on Main Market Road — natural light, a visible workshop, and room for customers to walk in and meet the makers.

November · 2024

Going international

First overseas orders — Silverse pendants travel to the US, UK, UAE, Canada, and Singapore, delivered via DHL Express.

What we stand for

Four things we refuse to compromise.

Every Silverse piece is shaped by these four ideas — in that order, every time.

Purity, Always

92.5% sterling silver, BIS hallmarked. Every chain, every bail, every clasp — never plated brass in disguise.

Made by Hand

No mass-cast trays or machine finishing. Every pendant is hand-set, hand-polished, signed by the maker.

Honest Prices

Direct from atelier to you — no retail markup, no middlemen. You pay for the silver, the stone, and the hours.

For a Lifetime

Free re-polishing and re-plating forever. Send it back in 10 years — we'll bring it home to you good as new.

A note from the founders

We didn't set out to build a brand.
We set out to keep a craft alive.

Growing up, we watched our father make pieces for other names — pieces that went into beautiful boxes with beautiful logos, none of which were his. He was proud of the work, but the work was never quite his.

Silverse is us taking back our name. Every pendant we ship is signed, stamped, and made with the same two hands our father taught. We're not the biggest jewellery label in the country and we never want to be — we just want to be one that does things the old-fashioned way: slowly, honestly, and with a lot of love.

If a piece of ours lives with you for the next forty years — quietly, against your skin, through all the small moments — then we've done our job.

How it's made

From raw silver to your pendant.

Five steps, forty-odd hours, two pairs of hands. This is how every Silverse piece comes to life.

Step 01

Raw silver

We source 99.9% pure silver granules and alloy them in-house to the exact 92.5% standard.

Step 02

Sketch & mould

Every shape begins as a pencil sketch, then a wax mould carved by hand — no 3D printing, no shortcuts.

Step 03

Cast with care

The wax is lost, the silver poured. Each piece is cast individually — no mass trays, no batch shortcuts.

Step 04

Stones, set by hand

Ethically sourced gemstones and rose-cut diamonds are prong-set by our master jewellers, one stone at a time.

Step 05

Polish, plate & post

Rhodium or gold plating, final polish, BIS hallmarking — then packed in our signature linen pouch and shipped.

The hands behind Silverse

Meet the makers.

A small team of six — three silversmiths, one designer, one storyteller, one very patient dog.
